June 6th - Beach Gathering
Join us at Sunset Beach for a morning of sand, surf and fun...We will be located between lifeguard stations 26 and 28...just look for a dad running after three boys and a 9ft board. We will be there from 11:00AM until 2:00PM. So, if you are wondering what to do, come out and have some fun. Parking is free and best way to get there is PCH until you reach Jack-In-The-Box. The parking is located right behind the fast food location.
June 11th and 12th - Fiesta Educativa Disabilities Conference
A bilingual conference for parents of individuals with disabilities, and the professionals who work with them. This event is held at USC and I strongly recommend you to attend. June 17th - Autism Benefit Event
Come and dance the night away enjoying music from today and yesteryear. This is a benefit event for three organizations: Autism Society of Orange America - Orange County, Fiesta Educativa and of course Project SEA. Funds from these events will help with existing programs within all organizations. The cost is only $10.00 for Project SEA members and more information is available at www.abierto2004.com
June 25th - Early Identification/Early Intervention Workshop
This workshop will provide participants with the latest in research, family impact, sensory integration, and
interdisciplinary practices. Presentations will include information from the field and from the family. The presenters
have wide experience in individual and multidisciplinary approaches in the treatment of autism and young
children. They will present from their areas of expertise and discuss the usefulness of relationship-based practice. More information available by click <here>.
June 25th - 10th Annual Boat and Ski Event
The Long Beach Boat and Ski club will be hosting their 10th annual Children's Disability day. This year, over 150 families are expected and it is a day of fun and excitement. See our Anaheim Angels battle Seattle Saturday afternoon. This event is sponsored by the Miracle League Foundation of Orange County. Free gift to all patrons (Antenna Ball) and best of all, you are not just coming to a game. You and your family gets to enjoy the splendor of tailgating and meeting new people.
